It has now been five years since this national commitment to build a pollution free hydrogen economy. The dream is still alive, but how close are we in actually building a distribution network for powering fuel cell vehicles, hydrogen powered electrical utility power plants, on-site hydrogen power for homes, and hydrogen batteries for cell phones and computer electronics?Actually, we could be a lot closer to replacing oil with hydrogen based technologies and fuels then most industry leaders would have you think. If this is true then why are we not seeing any major break through demonstration projects in the media?
