New Stem Cell Research Lab at UC Berkeley OpeningStaffthe Li Ka Shing Center for Biomedical and Health Sciences, at UC Berkeley, is a new stem cell research laboratory. The research lab was made possible by a $40 million lead gift from Hong Kong philanthropist and entrepreneur Li Ka-shing and other private and state funds. The lab opens this year.
